MICHELE BERSON

Principal

"Client education and comfort is my focus. My clients are partners in the process and feel supported and heard along the way, with no surprises when the market fluctuates up or down."

Michele understands that the key to building lasting relationships is to talk on a regular basis in order to educate, review accounts, and keep strategies fresh.

After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Economics in 1983, Michele started her professional journey in the corporate banking industry and built a full spectrum of client relationships, working with some of the largest corporations in the U.S. on their financial needs to the middle market arena and small business banking arena.

As her industry knowledge base grew, Michele entered the private banking sector and worked with well-known entrepreneurs in the United States.Michele continued to refine her focus in the financial planning field and became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and an investment broker. At this stage of her life, with over 30 years of financial services experience, and after opening and operating several of her own businesses over the years, Michele decided the path for her was one of a coach versus a consultant.

Michele volunteered with the Conejo Valley Unified School District and served several terms as the GATE (Gifted & Talented Education) liaison within the District.  She worked with SIFMA Foundation's Stock Market Game (SMG), giving students the opportunity to invest a hypothetical $100,000 in an on-line investment portfolio. Although they're playing a game, they're learning economics and financial concepts that can be used the rest of their lives. She was so proud when one of her classes took 1st place and another 3rd place in the California competition.

She enjoys working with clients and watching as they grow both financially and personally and achieve a sense of achievement and pride. When she's not helping clients, Michele enjoys visiting her son in Tempe, Arizona who is a college student at ASU's Business School.  If not at her desk or with her son you will find her training or just playing with her two dogs, a Havanese and a Tibetan Terrier.
